EdenHill Communities is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), providing a full range of services to suit the individual needs of our residents. Our quality and compassionate services also provide peace of mind to our residents and their families.
Independent Living
Residents enjoy an independent lifestyle in private, well-appointed cottages and homes located throughout campus. All of our cottages and homes are equipped with 24-hour security and include interior and exterior maintenance – for a truly worry-free living environment. A wide array of social activities are planned to encourage independence and inspire friendship.
Affordable Housing
We provide one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments for senior adults and persons with mobility impairments who need financial assistance on our main campus in New Braunfels and in nearby Sequin, Texas. Our apartments include carpeting, window treatments, kitchen appliances, air conditioning and an emergency call system. Shared amenities include a central dining room, convenience store, laundry room, game rooms and a comfortable living room, where residents find it easy to form lasting relationships.

Assisted Living
Individuals and couples who may require some assistance with medication and tasks of day-to-day living enjoy our comfortable atmosphere along with 24-hour care. We place a strong emphasis on personal choices, including menu selection and participation in social activities. Our residents are also encouraged to decorate their rooms with photographs and treasured mementos.
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation
Our health care team and attending physicians coordinate with primary care or referring physicians on each resident's medical and rehabilitation needs following hospitalization or an admission from home. EdenHill Communities offers a comfortable setting for post-acute care and support services in a relaxed environment for a unique recovery experience.
Medical and rehabilitation treatment plans, including physical, occupational and speech therapy programs, are tailored to encourage a resident's highest level of independence through the recovery of strength, mobility, endurance, flexibility and activities of daily living.
Long-Term Care
Aging is not an illness. It is a normal progression that begins at birth and continues throughout our lives. Following skilled nursing and rehabilitation services, some residents may require an extended stay or long-term care. For those requiring this care and support, EdenHill Communities’ patient-centered care model and treatment plan supports residents in achieving their highest level of independence.
For those nearing end of life, EdenHill Communities partners with a resident’s selected provider for hospice services. Hospice treats and respects the individual rather than the illness; focusing on quality rather than length of life. Family, caregivers and friends play a vital role and are encouraged to spend as much time as possible with their loved one during their hospice stay.
Memory Care
Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias are progressive brain disorders that gradually destroy a person’s memory, ability to learn, reason, make judgments, communicate and carry out daily activities and basic functions. Our memory care team is dedicated to meeting the special needs of residents with memory care disorders. Our two designated units provide an environment in which proper care and support can be provided to a resident as their disease progresses.
We also provide supportive and educational services for family members and caregivers. EdenHill Communities is an affiliate of the Alzheimer’s Association of South Central Texas and is the site for monthly Family Support Group meetings and the Alzheimer’s Lending Library.
