Eden Home is a Not-for-Profit Ministry
Eden Home is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) faith-based community, which provides a full continuum of care for older adults, including independent living, assisted living, Alzheimer and related dementia, and nursing care. We are committed to meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the whole person, in an environment they can be proud to call home. We are committed to providing a work environment , which nurtures the personal and professional growth of our employees. We are accountable to the community, the general public, and to local, state, and federal governments. Eden Home actively seeks to expand the resources available for charity care through fundraising efforts or generating revenues through related business activities, and through its efficiency. Last year, Eden Home provided over $1.5 million in Medicare and Medicaid discounts and direct charity assistance. Our work is truly a ministry, which sets us apart from other older adult communities.

The Board of Directors and administration of Eden Home created a policy, whereby no resident is ever asked to leave because they are no longer able to afford their care.  In February 2002, Eden Home held its first Champagne Gala.  That gala and subsequent galas have featured a silent auction, fabulous hors d’oeuvres, complimentary champagne and an outstanding gourmet meal prepared by the renowned Eden Home Dietary Staff.  The Moonlight Express Band of Austin, Texas, entertains guests with the sounds of big band music.   The purpose of the Gala is to generate funds for the Benevolence Fund, which assists those residents who have outlived their resources.  The 2006 Champagne Gala raised approximately  $30,000 for the Benevolence Fund.
